8. Place your fingers into the inset grip on the
left side of the top cover, and lift the cover
open.
9. Rotate the lever on the right side of the
toner cartridge to the front, and align the
mark on the cartridge with the
mark on the printer.
10. Lift the toner cartridge and remove it from
the printer.
Important
• Do not touch the interior of the printer. Some parts
may be hot.
11. Have ready the cartridge of the color
indicated in the message.
The color of the cartridge is also indicated
on the cartridge slot.
12. Shake the toner cartridge three or four
times to even out the toner inside.
