Custom 2 (Office)
By factory default, the option is set to Office. A maximum of 40 single-byte characters
can be used.
This custom option is suitable for information represented by a longer character string,
such as company name or department name.
Custom 3 (Department)
By factory default, the option is set to Department. A maximum of 60 single-byte
characters can be used.
This custom option is suitable for information represented by a much longer character
string, such as company division name or company address.
Server Address Type
The following additional options are available when Server is selected as the Address
Type:
Address Type
This second Address Type option allows you to change an existing address the address
type; for example, you may change a Server address type to an E-mail address type.
Name
Enter the recipient. There is a limit of 18 characters.
Transfer Protocol
Select the default value for the transfer protocol. Select either FTP or SMB.
Server Name / IP Address
Enter the recipient server name or IP address for transmission destination.
Shared Name (SMB Only)
Enter the shared name set for the SMB folder. Do not start shared names with a slash
(/). If they start with a slash (/), the machine will not identify them when processing
job flows.
Save In
Enter the directory for storing documents. When SMB is selected, use a UNC format.
• Transferring via FTP: For example, aaa/bbb; this example shows the saving of files
in the bbb directory, which is under the aaa directory, which is in the root directory.
• Transferring via SMB: For example: aaa\bbb; this example shows the saving files
in the bbb directory under the aaa directory in a specified volume.
User Name
When a login name is required to be input by the forwarding destination server, set
the login name. For the login name, you can enter a maximum of 32 characters.
