The following items are required in order to use the E-mail feature; required items differ
by the feature.

The TCP/IP address for the press is required for the

• E-mail
• Store & Send Link
• Print E-mail via SMTP
• Print E-mail via POP3

The Subnet Mask is required only when the network
is divided into subnets. When this is true, the follow-
ing services must be configured:
• E-mail
• Store & Send Link
• Print E-mail via SMTP

OtherSubnet Mask
The Gateway Address is required only when multiple
networks are connected by gateways. When this is
true, the following services must be configured:
• E-mail
• Store & Send Link
• Print E-mail via SMTP
