Billing Impression Mode
Billing Impression Mode Information
The Billing Impression Mode feature identifies the billing capability used on the press
and how to track impressions made on large size sheets such as A3 paper.
There are two setting selections:
• A3 Impression Mode: This is the default setting. This mode is for all media sizes
(including oversized), counts all impressions equally.
• A4 Impression Mode: This mode counts large impressions on media such as A3 and
11 x 17 inches (media that is larger than 8.5 x 14 inches), as their A4 equivalent.
Setting or Changing the Billing Impression Mode
1. Login as the Administrator.
2. Press the Machine Status button on the press User Interface.
3. Select the Tools tab on the UI.
4. Select Setup & Calibration > Setup .
5. Select Billing Impression Mode.
6. Select either A3 Impression Mode or A4 Impression Mode.
7. Select Save.
8. If necessary, select Close to return to the main Tools screen.
9. Exit the System Administration Mode.
Calibration
Calibrating the Press for Copy and Scan Jobs
When you calibrate, you optimize the quality of copied and scanned jobs. The press
prints a calibration pattern for you to place on the document platen glass. The press
then scans the calibration pattern, and automatically makes adjustments as required.
Note
This does not improve the image quality of print jobs, only jobs that are being copied
and scanned.
1. Log in as the administrator.
2. Press the Machine Status button on the UI.
3. Select the Tools tab.
