into the web user interface.
Note: It can only be configured
when the user mode is enabled.
The endpoint supports ASCII
characters 32-126(0x20-0x7E) in
passwords. You can leave the
password blank.
To configure user mode via the web user interface:
1. Click on Security->Security.
2. Select User from the pull-down list of User Type.
3. Select Enabled from the pull-down list of User Mode.
4. Configure a password or leave it blank in the User Password field.
5. Click Confirm to accept the change.
The default enabled user type is administrator. Users can log into the web user interface
and access the ―Advanced‖ menu with administrator privilege by default. The default
administrator password is ―0000‖ and can be only changed by an administrator. For
security reasons, the administrator should change the default administrator password
as soon as possible. The endpoint supports ASCII characters 32-126(0x20-0x7E) in
passwords.
Administrator password parameters on the endpoint are described below:
Specifies the user type.
Default: Administrator
Note: To configure a new
administrator password, you
need to select Administrator for
this parameter.
