Dual Port Dante Commands
1. Set IP Address Mode of “eth1” port
a. astparam s dante_ip_mode MODE
MODE values can be “static | dhcp”
b. astparam save
c. Reboot via the Reboot command button
2. Set Static IP Address of “eth1” port (Assumes mode is set to Static above)
a. astparam s dante_ipaddr IPADDRESS
b. astparam s dante_netmask NETMASK
c. astparam save
d. Reboot via the Reboot command button
3. Set Dante port to either “eth0” or “eth1”
a. astparam s dante_port PORT
PORT value can be “eth0 | eth1”
b. astparam save
c. Reboot via the Reboot command button
Example of setting the port and IP address for Dante operation on “eth1”
astparam s dante_ip_mode"static
"
astparam s dante_ipaddr 192.168.0.25
"
astparam s dante_netmask 255.255.255.0
"
astparam s dante_port eth1
"
astparam save
reboot via the reboot command button.
Important Notes
If the Dante port is set to eth0, the IP Address is always set via the normal procedure either
in the ZyPer Management Platform or the Network Tab of the Web Browser Interface.
The Dante IP Address cannot be set from Dante Controller.
The following command can be used on either an dual LAN encoder or dual LAN decoder to
check the status of the dante_port setting.
