Dual Ethernet Port Dante Commands
The dual ethernet port ZyPerUHD60 encoder and decoder units that support Dante can be
configured to have the Dante transport stream output on either ethernet port.
Note that both ports can be independent LANS or part of the same LAN.
The Ethernet ports are identified as either “eth0” or eth1”
eth0 is the primary 1G PoE port on the ZyPerUHD60-2EA or 2DA unit.
eth1 is the secondary 1G port on the ZyPerUHD60-2EA or 2DA unit.
By default and after a factory reset, the Ethernet ports are independent LANs and Dante will be
located on the eth1 port. Both ethernet ports are set to DHCP after a factory reset. If DHCP
server is not available, the ports will both take Link-Local Addresses.
There are various console commands to change this functionality. Note that some commands
require a Reboot of the endpoint to be implemented.
