PoE Power and PoE Switches
It is important to remember that the ZyPerUHD60 is a device that requires a 1Gb network.
Therefore any PoE injector must also support 1Gb data transfer.
To support PoE the following minimum Ethernet cable requirements must be met.

Must be Cat5e 24AWG Solid Copper Twisted Pair.

Must be shielded

Maximum Length 328ft (100m)
e
DC Loop Resistance per Pair < 25Ω
e
DC Resistance Unbalance per Pair 3% or < 200mΩ
Important Note
If using a Network Switch to provide PoE power to the ZyPerUHD60 devices, it is important that
the switch itself be protected against electrical surges that could be caused by something like a
lightning strike. An appropriate surge protector should be placed between the Network Switch
and AC power source.
