6. 4. 4. 8 Thorough RAM test
To carry out a thorough RAM test during startup, press the pilot key briefly (SC) dur-
ing the orange LED test (pattern[2]). The thorough RAM test lasts for approx.
2 minutes and is displayed with Pattern [4]. The startup then continues normally.
6. 4. 4. 9 Emergency Upload via LAN
An Emergency Upload is required whenever there is no longer any executable sys-
tem software stored on the communication server for whatever reason or if a
downgrade to an older software version is to be carried out.
For this, proceed as described in "Loading new or older system software with Sys-
tem Search", page 187.
