Single Loop Controller with Feedforward. A disturbance variable is weighted by the feedforward gain (

) and the feedforward bias (

values and then added to the controller output value. Multiplication of the feedforward signal with the control output (instead
of addition) can be selected
using the configurator. When in Manual mode, the PID output tracks the difference between the control output value and the feed
forward signal, to ensure
bumpless transfer back to auto mode.
