10. Double-check that the pockets are properly
secured to the robot! Insert the fork lift forks
into the pockets.

Reposition the harness, if any, before
using a fork lift!

CAUTION!
The robot models weigh:
• IRB 6600, IRB 6650: 1780 kg!
• IRB 6600ID, IRB 6650ID: 1880 kg!
All lifting equipment used must be sized
accordingly!
12. Carefully lift the robot and move it to its instal-
lation site.

WARNING!
Personnel must not, under any circumstances,
be present under the suspended load!
14. Refit the cooling fan to the motor, if any. Detailed in section Installation of
cooling fan for motors, axes 1-3 (option)
on page 97.
