Removing the extension shaft for Clean Room/ IP54 robots

Make sure that all supplies for electrical power,
hydraulic pressure, and air pressure are turned
off.

CAUTION
For robots with protection type Clean Room
Always cut the paint with a knife and grind the
paint edge when disassembling parts of the robot!
See Cut the paint or surface on the robot before
replacing parts on page 118.

tion 3351-1)
Remove the O-ring from the upper housing.

Loose the attachment screws.
Note
For robots with protection class IP54 (option 3350-
540)
Clean the upper housing from the glue if it will be
reused.

Remove the extension shaft from the mechanical
stopper.
Note

540)
Check the gasket for the extension shaft and re-
