installation and use
Contents of this chapter
This chapter describes how to install the digital services supported by NETA-21. The portal
is used to remotely monitor drives that are connected to NETA-21. The chapter tells you
how to install the IPS package, verify correct installation, configure parameter history and
make sure that NETA-21 communicates with the remote portal.
Installing IPS package
WARNING! Make sure that you install both CM (Condition Monitoring) ips
package and USB sensor Yocto-Meteo IPS package (yome.ips).
NETA-21 does not send data to the Ability portal. You must install an IPS package for CM
(Condition Monitoring) services on the NETA-21. For example, rcminst.ips, or cn-cm.ips for
installations in China.

Notes:
• Verify drive compatibility by viewing the compatibility table or contacting the support
line at CH-Drive.Remote.Support@abb.com
• The IPS package version must match your NETA-21 firmware version.
