44 Digital services portal package installation and use
Preconditions:
Make sure that:
• The latest NETA-21 firmware is installed.
• Possible on-site proxy settings are set. For more information, see section Configure
proxy settings on page 36.
• rcminst.ips package is available on PC
To Install the IPS package:
1. Log in as the admin user in the web UI.
2. Navigate to Settings Tool settings Packages (tab).
3. Click the Install button on the toolbar.
4. Choose the correct IPS package on your computer.
5. Click Send to tool.
Package installation takes approximately 1 minute.
Verifying IPS Package installation
Perform the following to make sure that the packages for digital services supported by
NETA-21 are installed correctly:
1. Make sure that the installed software packages are visible on Packages tab:
2. Make sure that there are no warnings or faults in Events tab.
Note: If there are warnings or faults on the recent events list, there is high
probability that the installation did not succeed. Retry the installation. You can install the
IPS package on top of the existing package.
