For information on configuring PC tool over Ethernet mode in DriveWindow PC tool, see
section Configuring DDCS/UDP in DriveWindow 2 User manual (3BFE
64560981[English]). You can also find the information in DriveWindow integrated help. The
DDCS/UP configuration is available from DriveWindow version 2.4 or later.
Notes:
• During this mode, NETA-21 stops sending data to the cloud. Hence, if NETA-21 is set
to PC tool Ethernet Gateway mode for more than one hour, it can affect the condition
monitoring diagnostics quality.
• For security reasons, PC tool Ethernet gateway connections for DDCS must be used
only inside a trusted network.
• During this mode, the Ethernet network delay (ping time) between PC and NETA-21
should not be more than 1...2 milliseconds. If network delay is more than 1...2
milliseconds, PC tool does not detect the drive and backup/restore of drive with the PC
tool fails.
