1.2.2 Wiring of a ABB-Welcome IP system
For a ABB-Welcome IP system there is a distinction between a building network and units
network. The building network includes all conduits and network components from the outdoor
station up to the master indoor station of a unit (apartment or business unit).
The unit network includes all components within a unit (apartment or business unit). A unit
network is required for the following applications:
More than one indoor station (extension units).
A maximum of 8 indoor stations per unit can be installed.
When using the app "ABB-Welcome
®
App".
Connection of free@home.
Connection of KNX.
Outdoor stations that are assigned to only one unit.
