7.5 Perimeter
An installation with a perimeter is illustrated in the following example. The perimeter comprises
two houses and associated parking garage.

Each unit receives an indoor station.
■
The main entrances and the parking garage receive an outdoor station.
■
Each of the main entrances is equipped with a door opener.
■
The switches are PoE-capable. The capacity is sufficient for supplying all devices of the
system with voltage.

It is absolutely essential that the houses are always connected with glass
fibre cables.
■
Set up the outdoor station for the parking garage in "Gate station" operating
mode.
