Quality of service (QoS) QoS is ensured by a communicaon link between the implant and the
paent programmer, which is assessed during inial linking of the devices
and monitored throughout the system's use. If the devices cannot establish a
sucient link or if either device receives invalid data, the paent
programmer will display an error message.
Wireless security measures The wireless data that is sent between the implanted generator and the
paent programmer is through short‑range inducve coupling, which does
not propagate through free space. The paent programmer uses a
proprietary data format that is incompable with other systems.
