8.2.3 Safety
8.2.3.1 Authentication
In this menu item, settings for security or encryption of access to the web page of the camera as well as the
retrieval of the video stream via the RTSP protocol can be made.
RTSP authentication: The authentication mechanisms "digest" and "basic" are supported. The
"digest" setting is recommended if the client supports it.
RTSP Digest Algorithm: MD5 - cryptographic hash function
SHA256 - cryptographic hash function improved in security.
WEB authentication: The authentication mechanisms "digest" and "basic" are supported. The
"digest/basic" setting offers greater compatibility with different clients.
WEB Digest Authentication: MD5 - cryptographic hash function
SHA256 - cryptographic hash function improved in security.
8.2.3.2 IP Address Filter
Activate IP address filter
Setting the selection tick activates the filter function.
IP address filter type
Allowed: The IP addresses defined below are accepted for access to the camera.
Forbidden: The IP addresses defined below are blocked. An IP is entered using the format xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.
Accept the settings you have made by clicking on "Save".
