9. Maintenance and cleaning
9.1 Maintenance
Regularly check the technical safety of the product, e.g. damage to the housing.
If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the product must be taken out of service and
secured against inadvertent operation.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible when
the unit has visible damage,
the unit no longer functions
Please note:
The product is maintenance-free for you. There are no components inside the product that
you need to check or maintain, never open it.
9.2 Cleaning
The lens of a thermal camera should be cleaned as little as possible because the lens is usually very
sensitive. However, if a lot of dirt has settled on the thermal lens over time, the following cleaning steps can
be taken carefully.
• Please never touch the thermal lens with your fingers
• Use of canned compressed air spray for rough cleaning. Careful use of the spray with appropriate distance.
• Use of cotton or cotton balls
• Use of 90% isopropyl alcohol
Make sure that no liquids get into the unit.
Do not use chemical cleaners, this could attack the surface of the housing and the screen
discolouration
