8.5.4 Privacy Zone Masking
With the help of privacy zones, you can cover certain areas of the live view to prevent these areas from being
recorded or viewed in the live image. You can set up a maximum of 4 rectangular privacy zones in the video
image.
Proceed as follows to set up a privacy zone. Activate the box
"Activate privacy zone". To add a privacy zone, select the "Area" button. Now you can mark an area in the
camera image with the mouse. You can then mark 3 more areas. Use the "Delete all" button to delete all
privacy zones that have been set up.
8.5.5 Image Overlay
With this function, a BITMAP image with a maximum size of 128x128 pixels with 24 bits can be superimposed
on the image.
8.5.6 DPC (Dead Pixel Correction)
This function is only available in the thermal image channel. This function can correct individual pixels. The
defective pixels must be marked manually via the arrow keys. The diskette symbol saves the position and the
left button (crosshairs) starts the correction.
Accept the settings you have made by clicking on "Save".
