24.1.3 Mode 3: charging and operation
You can continue working with the mobile workstation while it is in charging and operation mode.
Do not switch off the mobile workstation for charging, and plug the charger connection cable into a stationery
230 V AC shockproof socket. This starts the charging process, indicated by the charger status LED display
on the front of the workstation, which flashes green during the entire charging operation.
The following regulations apply to charging:
Check the charging cable for visible damage before charging.
Ensure the room in which the mobile workstation is charged is adequately ventilated.
Do not smoke or use naked flames when handling batteries.
Ensure no inflammable materials or spark-generating equipment is within a radius of at
least two metres of the mobile workstation during charging.
Keep fire extinguishing equipment ready.
Do not place metal objects on top of the batteries. Do not place objects directly on top of
the batteries.
The charging cycle in Mode 3, charging and operation, depends on the connected consumers. The
battery charging time increases with the number of consumers. In the case of larger loads, full
charging of the batteries cannot be guaranteed, which can shorten the service life of the batteries.
After operation in Mode 3, the batteries should be fully charged. Adjust the function to the
connected consumers.
Please note that the ambient temperature during charging must be at least 15°C in order to
achieve a sufficient charge state within the specified charging time.
