Common the 0V line of each ACTsmart2 to avoid Ground Loop issues.
Link the AUX I/O terminal, programmed for Interlock, on each ACTsmart2.

Fire Alarm Panel

Constant 0V supplied to the ACTsmart2 AUX I/O from the fire alarm panel. If 0V is removed, the doors open.
Note: 0V line of ACTsmart2 system is connected to the common of the fire alarm panel relay.
Note:
To program the Fire Alarm Override and the Interlock, please refer to the “I/O Function Codes” section of the manual.
ACTsmart2 Fire Alarm Override Connections

In this case AUX I/O 1 is programmed as Fire Alarm Override.
In this case AUX I/O 2 is programmed as Interlock
.
In this case, when one ACTsmart2 opens the door, the door on the other ACTsmart2 is locked and prevents access.
Common the 0V line of each ACTsmart2 to avoid Ground Loop issues.
