BOOT PROM DIAGNOSTICS

After a power-on reset, or following a keyboard reset prior

the

insertion

of a

system

disk,

the

boot PROM performs a

series of diagnostic

checks

the

system

hardware. After

the

first 8

system

diagnostic checks,

the

screen is initialised

to display

the

Apricot logo

and

the

words

"Testing".

"System

OK",

RAM size

and

the

for a

system
