use of this installation guide or the installation of any ADS
equipment.
Warning: The TRITON+’s internal modem requires
connection to an external antenna. ADS recommends
using ADS antenna p/n 9000-0094 or 0096 with the
TRITON+ monitor. This antenna supports the frequencies
used by the 4WW, 4VZ and GL TRITON+ models. The
user must maintain a distance of 9 inches (229 mm)
from the antenna whenever the modem is in operation.
Note: The ADS antenna comes with two options for cable
length: 12 feet (4.39 m), ADS p/n 8000-0094, and 3 feet
(0.91 m), ADS p/n 8000-096. The shorter antenna cable
should provide better signal strength and is recommended
for use when the antenna will be installed in the manhole.
