3. Connect from a computer to the instrument by
entering the OPC-UA address, replacing OsmoTECH_
XT with the IP address.
4. Once a connection is established, expand the device
in the application and click on the Remote control
object.
The following remote-enabled operations can be
performed on a remote instrument using commands
and user input:

– LOCK
Locks a remote instrument, requiring notification and
acceptance by a local user logging in to unlock.
When locked, the touchscreen becomes grayed-out
and a lock image appears on the screen.
Local operators can unlock the instrument by pulling
down the sampler cradle.
– UNLOCK
Unlocks a locked remote instrument.
When the instrument unlocks, the touchscreen clears and the
lock image disappears.
