The fi gure to the left indicates which rooms make up zone E; the master unit
installed in this zone is identifi ed on VMF-E5 by the label “Day”.
In this case, the zone is served by three units (one master and two slaves);
the type of unit chosen obliges the installer to use the VMF-E1 thermostat for
the master and two VMF-E0 for the slaves.
