The de
lta time reading should be 50 ns ± 0.28 ns; minimum 49.72 ns and maximum 50.28
ns. Record the minimum and maximum readings in the Performance Test Record.
23 Change the signal generator frequency to 1 MHz (1 µs period).
24 Select horizontal from the setup menu. Set the scale to 1 µs/div, position to –11 ns.
25 Clear measurement statistics by pressing the Clear Display button on the front panel.
26 The delta time reading should be 1 µs ± 2.5 ns, minimum 997.5 ns and maximum
1.0025 µs. Record the minimum and maximum readings in the Performance Test
Record.
27 Move the cursor over the top of the ∆Time measurement at the bottom of the screen.
Press the left mouse button and select Customize from the pop-up menu.
28 Set the To Edge # control to 6 with Direction Rising and Threshold Middle. Click OK.

29 Clear measurement statistics by pressing the Clear Display button on the front panel.
30 The delta time readings should be 5 µs ± 2.60 ns, minimum 4.9974 µs and maximum
5.0026 µs. Record the minimum and maximum readings in the Performance Test
Record.
