Output 1 and output 2 operate as entirely separate output channels.

Output 1 and output 2 signals are added together at the output 1
connector. The output 2 connector is no longer used. You can use this
mode to create complex pulse waveforms as shown in the figure
below.

pulses from output 2 on particular data pulses on output 1, for example.
