Remove the inlet base plug.
a Use a 7/16-inch open-end wrench (SS inlet) or 5/16-inch
and 1/4-inch wrenches (MM inlet) to loosen the sealing
screw at the inlet base. See Figure 2.
b Gently depress the Guard chip heater assembly.
c Remove the plug from the inlet base and discard.
