3.7.2 Consultation call to an external user
A consultation call is activated as soon as the attendant dials the external access prefix and the
first digit of the desired external number and a second telephone tab appears.
When the number is completely dialed the following softkeys are available:
Softkey
Feature
Correct
To correct the last digits dialed in case of dialing mistake.
Send
To activate ringing on the called external set.
Note: After a short timer, the external set is automatically rung without
pressing the Send softkey.
Cancel
To cancel the consultation call and continue the conversation with the
first party.
Release
To release both the conversation with the first party and the
consultation call.
When the second party answers the call, the following softkeys are available

Transfer
To correct the last digits dialed in case of dialing mistake.
Broker
To activate ringing on the called external set.
Note: After a short timer, the external set is automatically rung without
pressing the Send softkey.
Cancel
To send a callback request to the second party which is ringing.
Release
To release both the conversation with the first party and the
consultation call.
DTMF on /DTMF off
To activate/Deactivate DTMF transparency.
Conference
To put the first party, the second party and the attendant in
conference.
3.7.3 Initializing a three-party conference
A three-party conference may be initialized by the attendant if there is an on-hold call and a
conversation call.
