SPANNING-TREE PATH-COST
Syntax
spanning-tree path-cost
path-cost
Parameters
path-cost Specifies the cost of a port to the root bridge. The range
is 6 to 40.
Mode
Port Interface mode
Description
Use this command to specify the cost of a port to the root bridge. This cost
is combined with the costs of the other ports in the path to the root bridge,
to determine the total path cost. The lower the numeric value, the higher
the priority of a path. The range is 6 to 40.

Example
This example assigns port 2 a port cost of 22:
awplus> enable
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# interface port1.0.2
awplus(config-if)# spanning-tree path-cost 22
