GVRP TIMER JOIN
Syntax
gvrp timer join
value
Parameters
value Specifies the Join Timer in centiseconds, which are
one hundredths of a second. The range is 20 to 60
centiseconds. The default is 20 centiseconds.
Mode
Global Configuration mode
Description
Use this command to set the GARP Join Timer. This timer must be set in
relation to the GVRP Leave Timer according to the following equation:
Join Timer <= (2 x (GVRP Leave Timer))
The setting for this timer must be the same on all GVRP-active
network devices.
Example
This command sets the Join Timer to 0.3 seconds:
awplus> enable
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# gvrp timer join 30
