Navigate Your Fire TV
Learn how you can use your remote to navigate and control your Fire TV.
To learn more about using the Fire TV menu, go to Fire TV Menu Basics.
Remote Shortcuts & Quick Access Menu
You can use these remote shortcuts to quickly navigate your device.
To do this...
Try this...
Go to the Fire TV home screen
Press the Home
button.
Return to the previous screen or menu
Press the Back
button.
Select a movie, TV show, game or app
Use the Left and Right buttons on your remote's
directional keypad to scroll left and right, then press the
middle Select button.
Open the Quick Access menu
Press and hold the Home button on remote to launch
the Quick Access menu, where you can quickly access
your My Apps as well as Sleep, Mirroring and Settings
options.
You can also view the current time.
Restart your device
Press and hold the Select and Play/Pause
buttons at the same time, for about five seconds.
Access & Manage Your Content
Here's where to find your purchased movies, TV shows, games and apps on your Fire TV.
To do this... Try this...
Watch your Amazon Video purchases and rentals
Select Your Videos from the Fire TV menu. You can find
your Amazon Video purchases and active rentals in the
Your Video Library row.
Watch Prime Video
If you're an eligible Prime member, the Your Videos,
Movies and TV Shows categories in the Fire TV menu
are customised to show titles available to watch with
Primejust look for the rows labelled "Prime".
You'll also see a "Watch Now with Amazon Prime" option
in the video details for movies and TV shows included
with Prime.
Watch your Amazon Channels subscriptions
Select Your Videos from the Fire TV menu. You'll see
rows with featured content from your active Channels
