Get Apps & Games
You can get apps and games from Amazon and other third-party providers by opening Apps or Games
from the Fire TV menu.
Get Apps & Games
To buy or download games and apps from Amazon, you need to have a 1-Click payment method saved to
your Amazon account. To learn more, go to Change your 1-Click Settings.
To get games and apps:
Open Apps or Games from the Fire TV menu to browse apps and games available for your Fire TV.
your voice. Or, you can select Search from the menu to enter a text search.
Select a game or app to open its overview page. You'll see the Works with section, which describes
system and controller compatibility:

Fire TV Remote (both Amazon Fire TV Voice Remote and Amazon Fire TV Remote)
Amazon Fire TV Game Controller
Tablet Games on Fire TV (requires a game controller or mouse)
Fire TV Stick (only visible on Fire TV Stick)
Select Buy or if the app is free, select Free.
For paid apps, you can choose to complete your purchase using your 1-Click payment method or your available
Amazon Coins balance.
When the download is complete, the Buy or Free option changes to Open. Select Open to launch the
app or game.
To find apps you've installed through Amazon, open Apps or Games from the Fire TV menu and look for
Your Apps Library and Your Games Library.
You can also press and hold the Home button on your remote and select My Apps to open Your Apps Library from
the Quick Access menu.
