What You Need
Here's what you'll need to complete device setup:
Amazon account - You need an Amazon account to register to your device. Registering your device
makes sure you have access to the latest software, features and functionality that power Fire TV. If you
don't already have an account, you'll see an option to create one during the setup process.
Internet Connection (not included) - You need a Wi-Fi or wired (Ethernet) network to connect your
device to the Internet so you can complete setup and access content.
Compatible TV (not included) - Amazon Fire TV (1st Generation) is compatible with high-definition TVs
with an HDMI input port.
HDMI cable (not included) - Use an HDMI cable to connect your device to your compatible TV. Fire TV
devices support HDMI A Male-to-Male cables.
