Listen to Music
You can use the Amazon Music app on Fire TV to listen to music you've purchased from the Amazon
Digital Music Store or imported to your music library. You can also listen to music included with Prime (if
you're an eligible Prime member) or your Amazon Music Unlimited subscription.
With the Amazon Music app for Fire TV, you can listen to music you've purchased from Amazon or
uploaded to My Music from another device.
If you're an eligible Prime member, you'll also see featured categories designed to help you discover music
included with Prime. Or, if you have an Amazon Music Unlimited subscription, you can listen to music from
Amazon Music Unlimited.
For more information, go to Listen to Music Included with Prime on Fire TV and Listen to Music
from Amazon Music Unlimited.
For more information about uploading music to your library, go to
Uploading Music into Your Music Library.
To stream Amazon Music, your device must be authorised to your Amazon account. To learn more, go to
Authorise Your Device.
To launch the Amazon Music app, select Music from the Fire TV menu and select the "Amazon Music"
option. The app will then open in a fullscreen view.
You can use the navigation menu at the top of the screen to find music to listen to:
Browse - Browse music by category (including titles available with Prime Music and/or Amazon Music
Unlimited)
Recents - View music you've recently played.
My Music - Go here to find all of your purchased and saved music, organised by category (artists,
albums, playlists, genres and all songs).
Search - Enter a text search for a specific title or type of music. You'll see results from My Music as
well as titles included with Prime (if you're an eligible Prime member) or Amazon Music Unlimited.
If you have a Fire TV remote with a Voice , you can also use your voice to search your library, including music
you've purchased, imported or added to My Music.
When you start playing a song, the Amazon Music app opens to a "Now Playing" screen with a playback
progress bar and song lyrics (for available titles). For more information about lyrics, go to View Song
Lyrics.
You can use the media buttons (Play/Pause , Fast-Forward and Rewind ) on your Fire TV
remote to control music playback.
You'll also see a prompt to press the Menu button for "More Options" if there are additional options
available for your current selection, including things like shuffle, repeat, view album, view artist, view play
queue and more.
If you navigate away from the "Now Playing" screen, your music will continue playing in the background.
You'll see a minimised view of "Now Playing", which you can select to quickly return to that screen.
