Amazon Fire TV Remote Software Updates
Software updates automatically download and install on your Amazon Fire TV Voice Remote or Amazon
Fire TV Remote when paired with your Amazon Fire TV device that is connected wirelessly.
To determine the current software version for your remote:
From the Home screen, select Settings.
Select Controllers and Bluetooth Devices and then select Amazon Fire TV Remotes.
Select your remote from the list to view more details.
If an update is available, you will see the message "A software update is available. Press Select to
begin installing".
Press the Select button on your remote and then select Continue to download and install the software
update.
