3.8 SETTING UP POGO LS
Lloyd Instruments Limited produces a range of machines that can be mounted on specially designed
frames that can be used for testing a wide range of bulky items such as cardboard cartons, crates
and furniture.
These “Pogo” machines have a linear bearing tted in the xed lower crosshead through which a rod
runs, connecting the load cell and the compression platens mounted below the machine within the
frame.
