Bed Turning
Position the Maxi Sky 2 directly over the patient.
Connect as many loops as possible from one side of the
repositioning sling to the spreader bar.
Make sure to distribute loops on both hooks.
Select loop length in order to roll the patient as straight as
possible.
Raise the spreader bar until the patient is rolled into the
appropriate position.
Lower the spreader bar to release tension on the
loops.
Disconnect all loops.
Move the lift away from the patient.
WARNING: Using the hand control, lower the
spreader bar perpendicular or parallel to the patient
taking care not to lower the spreader bar onto the
patient, as this could cause injury.
WARNING: Make sure that the bed safety side is
installed to prevent the patient from falling.
NOTE: Place some pillows to prevent the patient from
rolling back and to maximize comfort.
WARNING: When using the lowering function be careful
to not hit the patient with the spreader bar as this could
cause injury.
