How to Use the PPP
Using the PPP allows the lift to detect stations (positions) located along the rail.
The command can be cancelled at any time by pressing any button on the hand control or by adding
weight on the spreader bar.
Move the lift to the activation station in the Turntable accessory.
Once the Turntable accessory detects the lift, it acknowledges
with a beep and starts turning to align with the other rail path.
Wait until the Turntable accessory has stopped completely then
the lift can be moved out of the Turntable accessory.
If the Turntable accessory fails to operate automatically or if
there is an emergency situation, engage the quick-release
located underneath the Turntable accessory and rotate the
plate manually to change the path completely.
WARNING: Do not use the PPP function when a patient is attached to the lift. Injuries could occur.
To send the unit to a specific PPP station, press the button
the number of times required corresponding to the desired PPP
contact station you wish to send the lift to, then press the or
button in the direction of that PPP station. The LED will light
up Green to acknowledge reception of the command and the
display will blink the "PPP" indicator.
The lift will raise the spreader bar and start moving in the
direction of the pressed button, until it encounters as many
stations as the button was pressed, then stops at the station.
WARNING: The weight detector, within the lift, that prevents the PPP from functioning when a patient is
attached to the lift, can only detect a minimum load of 20 kg (45 lb). Extra care should be exercised when
manipulating the hand control to transfer a patient weighing 20 kg (45 lb) or less.
NOTE: The PPP is available only on four-function lift model. The PPP is a programmable feature which is set
to "disabled" at the factory and can only be activated by a qualified technician. Refer to “Customizing” section.
WARNING: Be careful not to place your hand or fingers in
the path of the rotating plate.
