white. You can turn the spotlight on and o and you can adjust the spotlight behavior and
brightness.
Note: You can manually turn the spotlight on and o at any time from the camera feed by
tapping Spotlight
. You can also use the Low Light settings to control whether the spotlight
comes on automatically when your camera detects motion at night. For information about
Low Light settings, see Change the Low Light settings on page 49.
Use a rule to activate the camera’s siren
1. Open the Arlo app.
2. Tap Mode.
3. Tap the camera.
A list of modes displays.
4. Tap Edit
next to the mode.
5. Tap Edit
next to the rule.
6. Under Then do the following, tap Activate Siren and then tap Edit
.
The Siren Settings page displays.
7. Specify the Siren Duration and the Siren Loudness.
Manage alerts
Arlo can push notications to your smartphone, send you email alerts, or do both. To receive
Arlo notications on your phone, you must install the Arlo app on your phone.
Note: If you log out of the Arlo app on your smartphone or mobile device, you will stop
receiving push notications.
1. Open the Arlo app.
2. Tap Mode.
3. Tap the camera.
A list of modes displays.
4. Tap Edit
next to the mode.
Note: The Disarmed mode does not send alerts.
