8. SD Card Storage
You can insert a micro SD card (sold separately) into the micro SD card slot in your Go 2
Camera and store your Arlo recordings either in the cloud or on the SD card. If your camera
isn’t connected to the internet, recordings continue to be saved on the micro SD card. Your
Arlo app noties you when the SD card is low on storage space or is full.
Micro SD card format
Your Go 2 Camera accepts SD, SDHC (UHS-I), or SDXC (UHS-I) micro SD cards, Speed Class 10,
UH1 or U3, with capacity up to 2 TB.
If your micro SD card isn’t formatted, or is formatted with an incompatible le system, you can
use your Arlo app to format the micro SD card. See Format a micro SD card on page 54.
Install a micro SD card in your Go 2 Camera
1. Bring the Arlo Go 2 Camera indoors.
We recommend that you bring your camera indoors before removing its housing to avoid
potentially exposing the inside of the camera to water intrusion.
2. Press the release button to release the camera from its housing.
With a click sound, the camera slides partially out of the housing.
3. Pull the camera until it separates from the housing.
