- A two-way valve for refrigerant shut-off valve -N147 is also fitted (it actuates the refrigerant shut-off valve
via vacuum; the refrigerant shut-off valve is installed in the refrigerant hose between the engine and the heat
exchanger in heater).

Notes:
◆ The two-way valve -N147 is actuated by the switch -F269 installed in the heater control to ensure that the
flow of refrigerant through the heat exchanger is shut off if the setting "no heating" is activated (rotary tem‐
perature switch at "cold" stop).
◆ The engine control unit detects the setting of the rotary temperature switch via the potentiometer -G267
installed in the heater control. The rotary temperature switch setting is taken into account by the engine
control unit when controlling the refrigerant temperature (via actuation of the thermostat -F265 for map-
controlled engine cooling).

- A different heat exchanger is installed in the heater (the heat exchanger is calibrated to the higher refrigerant
temperature).
