6.13 - Removing and installing dash panel temperature sensor blower -V42
In vehicles with an operating and display unit -E87 with two displays
- Remove glove compartment.
=> Inner Body Assembly; Repair group 68
- -> Remove 2 bolts -A-.
- Detach connector -C-.
- Detach suction hose -B- and remove blower in direction of arrow.
Notes:
◆ Check function =>Page 18 (final control diagnosis).
◆ Check suction hose -B-. It must not be sealed and must be firmly attached to the temperature sensor con‐
nection piece.
In vehicles with an operating and display unit -E87 with one display
- Remove operating and display unit -E87 => Page 177 .
- -> Remove bolts -A-.
- Remove Blower -V42 -B- from -E87.
Note:
Do not press motor -C- when installing blower -V42 but hold the blower at the housing.
