◆ Replace condenser.
=> Air conditioner with refrigerant R134a
9.4 - Detach and re-attach refrigerant lines from/to expansion valve
- Drain the refrigerant circuit.

- Remove heat insulation -A- =>Page 162
- -> Remove bolt -B- (tightening torque 8 Nm).
- Remove refrigerant lines -C- and -D-.
Notes:
◆ Replace both O-ring seals -E- (17.0 mm; 1.85 mm) and -F- (8.2 mm; 1.85 mm).
◆ Seal off open refrigerant lines and connections to expansion valve.
◆ Install refrigerant pipes so that they are tension-free.
9.5 - Removing and installing expansion valve
- Drain the refrigerant circuit.
=> Air conditioner with refrigerant R134a
- Detach refrigerant lines from expansion valve => Page 203 .
- -> Remove bolt -A- (tightening torque 8 Nm).
- Remove expansion valve -B-.
- Remove threaded plate -E-.
Notes:
◆ Replace both O-ring seals -C- (14.0 mm; 1.8 mm) and -D- (10.8 mm; 1.85 mm).
◆ Seal off open connections at the evaporator.
