3.5 - Detach and re-attach compressor from/to bracket (4 cyl. petrol engine)
Notes:
◆ After removing compressor, secure to chassis longitudinal member with wire or similar - do not leave com‐
pressor hanging from the refrigerant pipes.
◆ Do not drain the refrigerant circuit - do not remove refrigerant hoses from compressor.
◆ Mark direction of ribbed belt before removing - reversing the direction of rotation can destroy the belt.
◆ When removing the compressor, specially note pressure switch -F88 installed on the power steering pump.
◆ Remove secondary air pump -V101 from vehicles that have one installed.

- Removing ribbed belt.

- Remove noise insulation and division between engine compartment and right wheel housing.

- Remove power steering pump from bracket.

- -> Remove bolts -A- (tightening torque 45 Nm).
Notes:
◆ Before inserting the compressor, push slide bush -B- completely into the compressor hole.
