Removing and installing.
- Open flap -D- of the thermal insulation mat (at the pre-punched point) and remove condensation drain valve.
Notes:
◆ Remove condensation drain valve -A- from floor panel downward - ensure proper positioning in cross-panel
-B- when installing.
◆ The installed condensation drain valve must not make contact with the thermal insulation mat flap -D-.
◆ The condensation drain valve must not be gummed up with wax or underseal.
◆ -> In the event of complaints of moisture in passenger compartment, check condensation drain -C- is cor‐
rectly seated in condensation drain valve -A-.
5.4 - Removing and installing heat insulation for the expansion valve
- -> Press together both shells -A- and -B- of the heat insulation until the catches engage.
Note:
If no heat insulation has been installed or if it has been improperly installed, the air conditioner capacity may
be adversely affected (pre-set regulatory curve change due to heat radiation).
