◆ If -E87 detects the fault "potentiometer short to earth or open circuit/short to positive", check all the poten‐
tiometers (in the 4 positioning motors) and the corresponding wiring.
◆ On vehicles with right-hand drive, connections 1 and 2 as well as 4 and 6 on the positioning motor are
reversed (check part number and current flow diagram).
