4. Loop Operation
4.1 Accessing the Menu Selections
From the Service Menu, perform the following:
Use the arrow down button to scroll downwards to
Loop Operation, then press Enter.
All loops are listed in the display.
Use the arrow up/down buttons to select the detection loop in
question.
To view properties for the selected detection loop, press Enter.
The following information is shown:
o Name
o Limit for maximum loop current
o Measured loop current
o Loop resistance – wire
o Loop resistance + wire
To access available functions for a selected detection loop, press
the Function button
, or use, if necessary, the multiselect
feature to select several detection loops by pressing the
Select button
to mark the detection zones that are to be
configured, and then press the Function button .
The following menu selections will appear:
o Enable (chapter 4.2)
o Disable (chapter 4.3)
o Change Disable Time Span (chapter 4.4)
o Show Polluted Detectors (chapter 4.5)
o Show Low Current Units (chapter 4.6)
Scroll with the arrow up/down buttons to select the desired menu,
then follow the instructions in the relevant chapter.
